Memory

Derquinse Bocas provides two memory-based back end implementations intended mainly for testing purposes. These two implementations are:
  • One that is backed by loaded values, that are stored in the Java heap.
  • The other backed by direct values, that are stores in direct buffers.
Both implementations are instantiated using the BocasServices factory class:

These implementations are unbounded (will accept new entries until an out of memory occurs) and non-persistent (entries will be lost when the repository is GC'd or the VM is terminated).
